All of the photos under this drop-down menu were taken during the Portuguese portion of my Portugal/Spain tour. We were able to visit the city of Lisbon, the 18th century Palacio de Queluz (Royal Palace of Queluz), the quaint city of Sintra, and the ancient town of Evora. This was not a typical guided land tour of Portugal, which would have included more areas of the country, but rather a heritage tour designed to give us an understanding of how Portuguese culture developed over the centuries. Portugal was simply beautiful, and I will definitely go back to see more of this country in the future.
