We spent less than three days in Laos, exclusively in the Luang Prabang area. Due to the terrible air travel itinerary provided by Gate 1 Travel, the tour company I booked this trip with, we only spent one full day of sightseeing here. I no longer recommend booking with Gate 1 Travel, at least not to Southeast Asia. They have a tendency of combining different tour groups and aligning their travel itinerary to benefit the company not the traveler. I was very disappointed with their service.
