As part of our Heritage Tour we visited the medieval city of Ubeda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that became a prominent town during the 16th century following the defeat of the Nasrid Muslim dynasty in Spain. With more than a hundred buildings and monument from that era, the town's Renaissance-style churches and palaces have been remarkably well-preserved.
