The following photographs were taken over a two day period in Moscow. On our first evening in the city we did a night tour, visiting various sites like the Moscow International Business Center, Victory Park, and the Moscow State University campus. The following day we toured the famous Novodevichy Convent, a fortress compound that once housed a women's prison and several female members of the royal family. Adjacent to the Novodevichy Convent is a large cemetery, the final resting place of noted Russians ranging from the military and political fields, to the academics and arts. The tombstones and statue grave markers in this cemetery were absolutely amazing, serving like an outdoor museum. And on our final night in Moscow, a small group of us went to see a performance at the Bolshoi Ballet Theater.
