Our tour of Spain took us to Sevilla, Ronda, Granada, Ubeda, Madrid, Toledo, Barcelona and Girona. This was a heritage tour designed to show us the historical cities and fortified towns that helped shape the current culture of the country. From ancient times, through medieval and Moorish times, through the modern monarchy and its struggles for democracy, we were given a solid education on how Spain has developed over the past 2,000 years. It was an enjoyable tour. I was very impressed with Spain, and will definitely go back to see more of this beautiful country.
